COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – Information & Updates

SEU Jacksonville is open, online, & thriving!

Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, our regional campus transitioned fully online, and was more engaged in our students’ lives than ever. Virtual classes, chapels, coaching, and discipleship empowered our students to flourish through the COVID-19 pandemic. Should we will need to go virtual again, we have tested and proven our ability to continue and thrive without skipping a beat. The fall is looking bright!

That said, we are pleased to announce we will be transitioning back to our fully in-person experience for the Fall semester, beginning August 26!

The COVID-19 pandemic has wrought a season of great uncertainty for many of us as it relates to our health, workplaces, and social communities. At the same time, this unique challenge that has opened a door to fear simultaneously provides an opportunity for faith.

Here at SEU Jacksonville, while we are missing seeing our “SEU family” face-to-face, the mission is still clear: to empower our students to discover who they are in Christ, and equip them with what they need to pursue that calling.

We were made for this moment.

No matter what the next several months may look like, SEU Jacksonville is making strides forward. Our online platforms allow us to continue on without skipping a beat. Our incredible faculty has worked tirelessly to provide that same “live” experience online through virtual classrooms and narrated content. Our staff has also worked incredibly hard to offer social events and virtual chapels.

While we know the future may look different, it’s still incredibly bright. Our team is already preparing for an amazing semester this fall, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our school family. We’re not falling back; actually, we’re sprinting ahead! This year is shaping up to be our largest intake yet.

So, whether you’re a working professional looking to finish your degree, a high school senior pursuing your studies locally here in Jacksonville, or a student following the call to full-time ministry, we want to come alongside you and your God-given dreams.

We love you. We’re here for you. And we’re praying for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4) to invade your hearts and homes.
